These Terms of Service govern the use of services offered by comnect UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Immanuelkirchstraße 14a, 10405 Berlin, Germany (hereinafter "PIATO" or "we") through the website piato.ai.
By registering or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Description of Services
PIATO provides a service for creating QR code menus for hospitality businesses. The service includes:
- Upload and hosting of PDF menu files
- Generation of QR codes that link to hosted menus
- Creation of landing pages for menu presentation
- Management of multiple menus via a dashboard
The scope of available features depends on the chosen plan (free or paid).
3. Registration and User Account
Full use of our services requires registration. You agree to provide truthful information during registration and to keep your login credentials confidential.
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your user account. Please inform us immediately if you suspect any misuse of your account.
4. Free and Paid Services
Free Plan: The basic features of PIATO are available free of charge. The free plan may be subject to limitations regarding functionality or usage intensity.
Paid Plans: Extended features can be unlocked for a fee. The respective prices and services are available on our website. Billing occurs according to the selected billing period.
5. User Obligations
As a user, you agree to:
- Only upload content for which you have the necessary rights
- Not distribute illegal, offensive, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable content
- Not use the services for spam or other abusive purposes
- Not take technical measures that could impair the operation of the platform
6. Intellectual Property
The rights to the platform, including design, code, and trademarks, belong to PIATO. Use of the service does not grant you any rights to our intellectual property.
You retain all rights to the content you upload. However, you grant us a non-exclusive license to store and make this content publicly accessible as part of the service provision.
7. Availability and Liability
We strive for high availability of our services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted accessibility. Maintenance work will be announced whenever possible.
Our liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. In cases of slight negligence, we are only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited in amount to the foreseeable, typically occurring damage.
8. Termination
You can delete your user account at any time. For paid plans, the subscription ends at the end of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to suspend or delete user accounts in case of violation of these Terms of Service.
9. Changes to Terms of Service
We reserve the right to change these Terms of Service. Registered users will be informed of significant changes by email. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
10. Final Provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contractual relationship is, to the extent legally permissible, Berlin, Germany.
Should individual provisions of these Terms of Service be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
